Step aside ring finger—these days, the pinky is the hottest digit in town. Transcending the seasons, celebrities have embraced the pinky ring with gusto, adding it to formalwear and their everyday ring stacks alike.

For fall 2026, designers took the classic dress shirt—that hallmark of formality and conformity—and subverted it a bit. At Bottega Veneta, Jil Sander, Balenciaga, and elsewhere, prim-and-proper button-downs went down the runway half-tucked, with one side peeking out of sweaters or jackets while the other was folded discreetly away. Talk about an unexpected breakout trend.

Sneaker fever continues to gain traction for spring 2026, and as we start building our closets for the new season, we’re taking a look at the sneaker trends you should be investing in for the next few months.

Pistachio has had its moment. Tomato long before that. Then we had the butter yellow brigade, stopped in its tracks when Hailey Bieber touted a “lemon-tini” summer. What could follow seasons of food-related color trends? A minty fresh refresh in the form of dressing like a cresting squirt of Colgate. Let’s call it, “toothpaste dressing.”
